Quick Note: Once your register, you will get a link & password to the page to download the e-books, so please take the time to read the confirmation page.

We kicked things off with an interview with the founder of Read An E-Book Week, Rita Y. Toews earlier in the week, celebrated e-books on the Michigan Writers Network Show Thursday, and have been hearing from members regarding all the great e-book finds around the internet.

For Read An E-Book Week, we put the call out and received quite a few responses from African-American Authors who are offering the e-book versions of their books (for a limited time) FREE OF CHARGE in honor of Read an E-Book Week and to help us kick off of our 8 Week E-Book Reading Challenge.

They will then join us through-out the next eight weeks for one of our popular Black Book Chats where we will discuss the book with members and site guests.

**Note:  By registering and downloading any of these books, you are acknowledging that you understand that the books are not to be sold, distributed or posted elsewhere.  They are for your private use only.

News & Updates
Tuesday, April 20, 2010

Greetings everyone!

Thanks again for your interest in the books offered FREE for our E-Book Reading Challenge which will end on May 2nd.  Our chats with the authors are still going on several times of the week, so as a registered attendee, we really hope to see you stop through.  Yes, we all love a free book, but what's better than actually reading and then discussing with the author and other lit lovers?  So, if you downloaded copies of these titles, definitely consider participating and sharing with us during our Black Book Chats.

The updated schedule is below and the remaining chats will start at noon and last until 8PM EST; all to be held via the Black Book Chats portion of our site in the comments section of each post.
